Yesterday morning I woke up to dark skies, and rain that has lasted all day. I decided it was a perfect day to sip something warm, and immerse myself in computer ‘work’….ie sorting through emails — and links saved for a rainy day……..
I ended up spending several hours skimming posts about herbs and wishing I knew more…..which led me to looking at herb websites and books…..which led me to buying a couple, and adding many more to my Herbs & Botanicals Wish List.
So, which ones did I choose for purchase?
I have always had a fascination with all things natural — wildflowers, lawn weeds, stones, insects, reptiles…..the stars and planets….the weather……to name but a few.
I am eagerly awaiting the delivery of these books so that I may expand my knowledge and ability to identify some common herbs, as well as grow and utilize their therapeutic benefits — and I look forward to sharing what I learn.
At this moment, my favourite culinary tea herb is peppermint. It has the ability to provide a refreshing flavour to most of my therapeutic blends which tend to taste a little bitter, or bland.
What’s your favourite herb, and why?
Peace, Love, & Blessings,
