More of yesterday's adventures! The Raven sculpture really spoke to me on a spiritual level 💙 . That bridge has amazing history! Google Kiskatinaw bridge for more details or click this link: http://bit.ly/historic-kiskatinaw-bridge . The rivers flow fast, & collect all sorts of debris along the shores. I'm pleasantly surprised by the lack of human garbage 😊 . We drove north through Taylor - to Fort St John & Charlie Lake, then west through Hudson Hope, & onto Chetwynd. It was a beautiful drive & the colours are vibrant. I've never seen so many shades of lush greens, & the hills & valleys are unlike anything we have back home. If you enjoy a lot of s-curves, take this route! It's a fun drive. . Today began like any other. Get up. Get dressed. Get coffee. Check email/social media..... and just like any other day, my mind sees something, & goes off on a journey of It's own, like a wild stallion. . . And then....'the voice'...... . . "Here we go again....sidetracked, off-track, so far from your day's intentions...." bla bla bla..... . . I stopped myself, and asked..."is this really so wrong? Will this eventually lead to something productive? Or shall I tack this up under 'self-love nurturing' that you're so greatly lacking in'? . . Now, I know that I can't possibly be the only one that has these squirrel-brain moments, and I must stop this negative berating, & 'self-sabotage speak' that doesn't result in positive energy flow. . . We are the sum of our thoughts. Ponder that for a moment. . What is it that I truly desire, in this moment (every moment) -- the answer is PEACE ✌ . How do I get there? What does this look like when I fantasize about my perfect world? Hmmmmm.... Well it looks like me, doing whatever I please, guiltlessly, whenever I damn well please. . . K, so carry on then. Go please yourself! Don't let me, stop you, I mean....me 😉 . . So today, grant yourself permission to nurture yourself a little. Don't beat yourself up over the negative voices that someone implanted at some point, in your conscience. I know it's not always easy, but I tell ya, it's so much easier when we give ourselves a little hug, and say --- 'its okay -- (nahow)'. . ☯ Everything in balance.
